Description The Senior Dimensions Engineer is responsible for planning, leadership and engineering that supports business productivity and R&D on the SPSS Dimensions platform. Business productivity includes process automation for survey design, data collection, data processing and reporting. The Senior Dimensions Engineer must play a leadership role in defining best practices and adherence for Dimensions development and communicate it to colleagues.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Custom survey and data processing development.
• Wizard creation for automating survey/processing development.
• Define and manage best practices for Dimensions development.
• Mentor fellow Dimensions Engineers.
• Manage change through strong written/oral communication.
• Tight collaboration with the business to gain insight for wizard development.
• Radiate motivation. Be a leader
Requirements • Advanced user in the SPSS Dimensions toolset, including Author, Professional, DimensionNet, Reporter and mrPaper.
• Five or more years experience in using MRS/DMS/IOM/TOM scripting languages.
• Two or more years experience in database modeling and T-SQL programming.
• Strong working knowledge of ASP.NET, VB, C#
• Strong working knowledge of internet technologies such as html, CSS, XML, Javascript, Flash
• Completed four year degree in related business program and three or more years experience managing full life cycle projects.
• Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Five or more years experience in software development/engineering.
• Ability to understand, document and analyze business processes.
• An openness to change.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
